Programs, Recital and Awards

I have really been behind on blogging which would not be a big deal if this was not also our family journal so I am trying to post some events I missed blogging about this spring.

Katelyn and Allison had their spring concerts for school. They both did great. Allie was really looking forward to her concert. Kate loves to sing but was not very thrilled with some of the songs she had to sing.

Allie had her dance recital this week and did a great job. She is always so happy on stage. After her performance we went out to dinner with Grandma, Grandpa and Sandy's family. We appreciate all the family support we have.

In late April we got a letter from the school stating that Katelyn had won 3rd place in a essay contest sponsored by the Lions Club so I got to go to an assembly in her honor. I am very proud on my girls.

On the last day of school Katelyn was given a special award for her reading performance in AR. After a special assemble Kate and 10 other 3rd graders got to go on a limo ride with the Principal. They cruised around town and went out for ice cream. She worked very hard to earn this and had a great time!

The girls had a great last day of school. The both had super great teachers this year and look forward to next year. As for Ryan and I, we are glad to be done with PTA and volunteering at the school for a while. We are all looking forward to a relaxing summer.

I can't believe how old your girls are getting. Way to go Katelyn and Allie for all of your accomplishments this year!

Hopefully you'll have sometime to relax this summer before the baby comes. So excited for you. We love and miss you guys!

I can't believe how busy you guys always are with school and all the extras. It will be nice to have some what of a break for summer, But knowing you I am sure that you will find plenty of things fun to keep you busy. I hope the warm weather comes back so that we can go to Ross Park soon!!!
